However, the awareness, definition, and the perspective taken on domestic violence varies from country to country and also on the individual persons.

I think your definition is very clear and straight forward. However I think to improve your post you could explain more in depth what exactly physical aggression, psychological and emotional abuse and sexual abuse is. Maybe you could give some examples to explain the types of violence. Could you also compare how domestic violence is defined in different countries? How is it defined in Turkey’s and Nigeria’s constitution? On this PDF document pg.3 (http://www.unicef-irc.org/publications/pdf/digest6e.pdf) it talks about how different groups people view domestic. This would bring in more perspectives in to our global perspective project! And one last question what do you think domestic violence is?
